Finally found one

I was going through a very dry brick, only a few common 50's a 1932 Canadian, a 1974 Panama centavo, a very tired 1929s. lots of 70's copper. and lots of time. Then in the last hand full and with little hope and fatigue of the brain this one jumped out. A 1988 D reverse of 89, alitlle to the ugly side but a rareity all the same.

I think I'm the King of RDV-006 although I have never found one. I have searched so many that I cold say with certainty that this one is the real deal. No doubt about it despite the condition this coin is in. Congrats and go find a replacement soon now that you know what it is. Best Regards. Your cent may be ugly but it makes you pretty proud.

Congrats on your 006, I have one definate example but yours is in much better shape than mine. Mine is so pitted and delapidated that it looks like the surface of an alien planet. But it is what it is for sure. I remove all the 88's,P&D that I find, from circulation. Got a bag of them, gotta be 800 of the buggers easy, or better. Just waitin for a nice one. Tom

A Nice addition to your collection as they are getting harder to find in circulation for as many Die Stages that are identified.

Same goes for the 88-D's which are extremely hard to find.
