Tried mightily to deflate this one without success. Any chance at a tilted hub-dub; Or some other wonderful thing?

man i not 100 sure but im leaning towards a die chip just because of the shape, look, and position of it.tilted hub you can rule out

If the angle was different I might be suspect, but from the photo it looks more like a small die dent or gouge.

The item running SE from the SE loop to the rim appears to be a die gouge... The item NNE of the end of the loop looks like die deterioration of some sort!!!

Have you tried the fingernail test? Looks like it could be a plating bubble, but worth a second look for sure.
