I do not see anything to indicate that this coin is a Doubled Die. Please take into consideration that during the striking of a planchet, often times the machinery can be a little loose. This creates a shake or random movement of the dies, feederfingers, ejectors, etc. Sometimes the random movement is minor and sometime it can be dramatic. There are so many unknown variables that can happen at the moment of a strike and the final result or outcome becomes apparent on the struck coin. Many of these instances create false doublings or machine related doubling and are not hub related doubled die. 1969 is very well known for its major MD's or machined doubling. That is what you are presenting here. Another example of 1969 MD. Thanks for sharing.
