1999 D Lincoln Penny

Thanks to all regarding my camera situation. I have figured out the problem. I will be posting pictures soon.
I have another question.

I discovered a 1999 D Penny on the reverse in the Lincoln Memorial there is a raised line going through Lincoln's head and through several of the poles. It is very long.

Any answers?

Can't really say without photos but a guess might be a die scratch.

The line is raised with humps going along the line. This is called a die scratch and not a cud?

A cud would be a die break inclusive of the rim. Your discription sounds more like a die crack??

I could be a die crack, or the infamous, for zinc core cents, bubble lines. But until we get a look at it we cannot be sure.

When you post a reply before you submitt scroll down the page until you see manage attachments in red. Click on it there will be a page pop up to browse photos on your computor or link to another site. Enter a selection and once it has uploaded then click the submit button. Photos about 650 X 650 work very well. Hope that helps.
