Tried to help with the photo a bit. Looks like maybe post strike damage, I can't be sure. Can you post a shot of the reverse.

I hope this helps. When I view the pic it is clear. Look a the sides of the obverse.

I think better pics may be needed to make any kind of determination. Do you have a magnifying glass or a loupe that you can take the pics through. That may help.
