i have a 1955 wheat penny you can see an image of the head protruding thru the back of the coin
have you heard or seen this before?

It is actually pretty common on wheat cents. It has been called the 'Ghost Lincoln" We have a couple of threads here about what it is you are seeing. Let me see if I can find the article and post it for you
