View Full Version : Found 2 of these today, Both nice 2006 DDO

Okay I found these today and both are the same. They appear to be nice examples of 2006 DDO's but I don't see a match on copper coins. I want your alls thoughts on these. Here is what I see, north extention on Liberty and north westerly extention of the date. What are your thoughts?:LOL_Hair:
The pics are from one of the 2 coins. Both show the same defects

Looks good.......You can tell from the date and Liberty........That's DDO. Congrats keep searching.

I could be wrong, but looking at your images, to me it sure looks like CDDO-028/WDDO-032/Coppercoins 1DO-017 and CONECA DDO-003/3-O-IV+VIII.

It sure looks like the big one to me too! Congratulations. Those are outstanding finds, and could be worth quite a few bucks.

Thanks all!! No I didn't fall out of my chair again because I really didn't realize at the time what I had exactly. I knew they were DDO but didn't even look at the 1DO-017 when I looked on copper coins. For some reason I had it in my mind that the Liberty on that coin looked different, but after everyone posted that it was a 1DO-017 I went back and looked. Sure is on both coins!!! I also found another 2006 DDO that day but not the 1DO-017. It was some other one I am yet to confirm.
How much do you all think they may be worth. I have yet to send in my 1983P-1DR-001 to be graded. I may send these in with it. I believe it is cheaper if you send in 5 at a time.
Anyway I am really enjoying this hobby. As silly as some of you may think I am, I get just as excited with 2000 and 1998 WAM's when I find them even though they are worth lots less. Found another 1998 WAM this morning.

Engine is only 3 hrs away. Time for a road trip I think.
