Weird Lookin 83

This 83 looks not normal. Abes chin seems to be protruding out more than normal and part of his neck seems to be missing! Also the Y in liberty seems to be weaker struck then the rest of the letters, which are struck boldly. Reverse appears normal. Any thoughts on this one? Thanks in advance for lookin 35966

The Y looks weak from polishing (probably a clash).
The beard looks like one I already answered for somebody else...ice cream or a die chip :smile:

There is a crack/chip apparent at the end of the beard but I don't think that is the focus of the post. The beard looks to be longer than normal because it is thinner than normal and I think this is because the bottom of the beard is either eroded/abraded/or partially struck through grease. Thereby the beard appears elongated. MHO
