It is not a 1995. It is a 1958. (Why am I pointing this out?). There may be notches on the E of WE and the T of TRUST, but the pics are the best. Otherwise I see nothing.

Brown- Which reference books do you use? There are several that would have answered nearly every question you've posted on the forum (as all of your questions have been about strike doubling on 69-S and 58P cents). I strongly recommend that you invest in a BOOK and READ the chapters within it.

"Strike it Rich with Pocket Change" by Ken Potter and Brian Allen (Under $15) and "The Cherrypicker's Guide to Rare Die Varieties" (Under $30) are both excellent references that will help bring you up to speed with other forum members.

The forum has become so filled with hubris in the last couple of weeks that it's too easy to skip over a thread that actually has some redeeming value.

Here's another great book that taught me a whole lot! The Official Price Guide To Mint Errors 7th Edition, By Alan Herbert 21.95 retail, but well worth it, no games just facts! Enjoy!:tinysmile_hmm_t:

Good call Coinman. A computer screen can show you a lot, there are plenty of excellent attribution sites, but until one can tell the difference between normal and variety coins, there's NO substitute for having the information in front of you, in hard copy.

Agreed. Every coin collectors bucket list should include at the very top of the list:

1. Library of Numismatic Books

2. Join the A.N.A

3. Join a local numismatic club

4. Go to Coin Shows

5. Ask Questions from those in the know.

By the way Numismatic Literature is a collectible art in itself.

Hey Coinman- I'll see your books and raise you a few! I really do practice what I preach.

And yeah- I used to collect numismatic bibliomania. There are some excellent dealers in books such as Karl Moulton and Orville J Grady among many others.
