2001 cents are pretty much all extra thick. Compare that date with any other, and you will see what I mean. I think 1992 was another 'thick' year.

See any seperation or serifs on the "2 or 1?" May want to show us a hole date pic as clear as possible...

Like Bob already pointed out, and he's about as much of a pro as you're going to get here, that just about all 2001's and 1992's have extra thick devices. You would have to have significant notches before considering it a DDO. If you notice, there are not a lot of 2001 DDO's listed.

Thanks Rock and Bob, My pics don,t allow me to see the details of notching that would make me be sure this is other than a regular 2001P.
