82 Thick Lettering

Found this one earlier from bank roll. Looks similar to the ones on cc. Whatya think? Not sure if copper or zinc. Pics are a bit blurry best i could get. Thanks 36726

Unfortunately your 1982 is pretty normal for that year. No hub doubling on this one that I can see. The 1982's are a bear because so many were struck with worn dies creating that fat or spread out look on most of the devices. Keep your eyes open for notching on the top of the LI in LIBERTY and/or for split devices on the motto. At least that's what I pay attention to before I start to get excited about the thickness of the elements.
