(2) 1969S from BU roll... possible DDR?

Here are two examples from a BU roll of 1969S Lincoln Cents.

The reverse (Abe sitting) just looks weird, particularly on the first example.

Could these be DDR or just die deterioration (or something else)?

Looks to me like a combination of die deterioration and die abraision, especially on the second.. Lets see what others have to say.
