Hello and Goodday to everyone out there. I need help identifying this obvious error Lincoln Cent I recently found. PLS. Help. Thanks

I think it is PMD (Post Mint Damage). It looks like glue or nail polish on the reverse, or maybe it sat in a fountain for a while and there are deposits on there. The damage resembles a lamination issue, but it is not due to the minting of the coin.

This looks like some kind of plastic or glue and not an error. This happens quite often when coins contact various surfaces. Welcome to the Lincoln Cent Resource forum. Some glue or sticky stuff and had other cents stuck to it...I see a partail date of one.

I agree Just glue. Glue got me thinking I had errors as well when I first started on here. Study and read these post as much as you can. There are super knowledgeable people on here who are glad to help:LOL_Hair:
