Didn't know if this was a possible double die across the top of uniTED STATES ? If not, what is it?

I posted one very similar earlier this evening, one person says it may be a plate issue... I'm still waiting for more responses from the pros =)

It is definitely a split plating issue. It is common and not worth a premium.

Yes, it is a plating issue very common on zinc cents, I even have proofs with this anomoly.

Definite on the split plating... When corrosion hits those areas the coin goes quick!!!
