I think this is called lamination error? Please correct me if I'm wrong. There may be some other things going on here also.
Die cracks?? The '8' in the date looks a little 'fat' also. Leslie

...and as far as lamination peels go, that's a big'n. Looks like some peeling going on to the east of Abe as well. The 8 is likely a hit, but I can't really tell from the pic.

Laminated and a PSD on the 8. Learned this acronym here awhile ago.
