1965 P Plating issue ?

I found a nice 1965 P but I believe it has plating issues.Right or wrong ?
any help appreciated.

It couldn't be plating issues since that would refer to copper plating on a zinc core and that didn't start until 1982. What you are looking at is die deterioration or die fatique around lincoln's face.

Strong effect, but... yep. Die deterioration.

There's die wear on the face, but also Machine Doubling as well and that is what is causing the doubling - the '60s Lincoln's are riddled with MD on the portrait.
