It's not in the cud book's supplement. Anybody with the actual book could take a look?

Yes, it's a cud. A cud is a die break that incorporates the rim and at least a little bit of the field. So yours qualifies easily.

I checked The Cud Book, and your coin is not even close to any they have listed.

Yes it is 1984 P. Sorry I thought I included it but I guess I didn't. Maineman was right. It amazes me how they can tell but just a little part of the pic!:tinysmile_hmm_t:

Looks for some clashed letters anywhere..Might be a Type 2 counterclash in there somewhere..

That happened to me once too. I told everyone to guess the date and everyone got it right.......it was on the pic.
Anyway, I'm a little late but wanted to say Congrats on a really nice find. I've found only 2 cuds in 14 yrs and it was a thrill each time.
Well, I lied. My WIFE found the 1st one, but I was still allowed to be thrilled since it went into MY collection.:LOL_Hair:
