Hey guys, I'm pretty new still and I have no idea how to do an overlay for a clash. I have found this 1993 and at least to me the clash marks are in areas I don't normally see them. I thought this may be a misaligned die clash. What do you all think??
Could someone help with an overlay?

Here is a standard memorial cent clash overlay if that helps (courtesy of Richard Cooper)Comment

I couldn't tell if it was or not. I just can't picture it in my mind. Back when I enlisted in the Army on the asvab test we had to determine how the gear cog turned at the end if the first one turned CCW or CW! Made my mind hurt and I didn't do well on that part. This clash stuff is alot like that. Trying to imagine the upside down reverse of the other side imposed on the side your looking at with only little impressions to go off of!!!! OH I have a headache!

I'm not sure if anything I am seeing are clash marks - could they be plating issues and/or PMD?

I am tending to agree with Jason on this one. It may not be a clash at all. The stuff on the right almost looks like a struck through (threads) to me. The caveat is that I would need to see it in had to verify what it is.Bob Piazza
