What we got here is one very messed up 1960D cent.
Die break on shoulder, difficult to see but left of center (cent is on side).
Die clash, breaks and chips on reverse.
Column 2 and 3 look like a Greek temple after an earthquake.
Right end of first roof is badly damaged.
The die clash is from the left corner of roof, follow the red line.
The other breaks/chips on the C, plus a nice die gouge to the bottom left.
I haven't found another coin with this many errors.

I can't really tell by the photos. Sounds like you have 2 dies about to be retired from service.

What you have is the starting of a "Shattered Die". All the small cuds, cracks, chips and movement of the coin features. These are rare. In my collection I have a graded Shattered Die (Obverse and reverse) which has hundreds of cuds, cracks, chips etc. There are only 3 graded and encapsulated with the shattering of the die this great. You have a nice find for a starting of a shattered Die with clashed dies, which proably helped to start the process.

WOW! Rare?
I seem to be running on all eight cylinders lately.
Good golly...
Perhaps you are all right and I should get these things attributed by ANACS.
I will have to check into how one does that.

Have you noticed my avatar?
That one I found in a bag of 5,000 wheat cents a couple months ago or more.
It was sent to a much trusted dealer in Arizona and then to PCGS... came back as a 1922 Plain, XF40, BN, Strong reverse. My most famous find to date.

And a nice find at that. Brad has links to the grading companies on the home page of this site which if you are interested will give you all the info you need.
