View Full Version : New Die Pairing 1988-D 1c Transitional Reverse
LCR forum member Joseph Koelling recently submitted a 1988 D-mint Lincoln cent with transitional reverse that turned-out to be a new listing for my "C" files now assigned as 1988-D 1c CTRD-009.
I have posted photos to include die markers on the DVN "News & Updates" (http://www.dvnmagazine.com/news.html) web page. If you get a chance stop by.

Just to keep things in perspective: "I was not the original finder of the coin, I am just the new owner who had it attributed, and it turned out to be a New Discovery Piece in the "C-Files"."
I did find it for sale and I purchased the coin.

New information has come to light that I was unaware of. The 1988-D 1c CTRD-009 will be credited as "Submitted by" Joseph Koelling and Sean (forum member seal006) will be credited as the original "Reported by" for my files. Changes will be reflected on the web page shortly.

I am forwarding the 1988-D 1c CTRD-009 and Bill Haase recent new listing 1988-D 1c CTRD-008 to John Wexler for his examination to see if they could possibly be new listings in his "W" files.

UPDATE:
This coin (CTRD-009) has been attributed by John Wexler and he has assigned it as 1988-D 1c WTRD-010 (Die Pair 10) in his files.
