I am afraid these are either die scratchs or feeder finger scrapes. I don't believe they are trails. Sorry!!

I'm kinda thinking the same thing as Shannon on this one. Looks like some sort of die damage to me. I would say from feeder fingers, but come to think of it, I've only seen feeder finger damage on reverses.

Well on a 2 nd look maybe they are scratches.

They happen to coincide with the direction of the planchet striations. I would say that they are either related to the striation lines (in which case, I'm both clueless and wordless) or abrasion marks that happened to be made in a similar direction to them.

It is definitely not feeder finger damage, I had to enlarge the pics 400% to see the real anomaly which are trails showing up as extensions of the chin, mouth etc. At first it looked mostly like scrapes but to the contrary the trails we the most prominent feature.This is a tough one.Thanks for sharing.

I didn't look it up because I knew it was a trail die. (Thanks Wendell...again)
Sorry I put some of you out, but this IS a learning site for all of us, agreed? So don't take it hard if you didn't get it right the first time.
There were a LOT of times when I didn't get it right also.

What you should do first is look it up to see if it's listed before you think about tossing it out. Agreed?
