What do you think? Would this qualify enough to be potentially an extra column? Also, Looking at listings of 1993D extra columns on CC and DVN, I see they show multiple bays with extra columns and not just one. But maybe that doesn't matter. Thanks for your help on this.

IMO it is a plating issue as you can see some of the other bays have almost the same thing in the same location. Sorry!

That's what I kind of thought, but this particular one seemed a bit more defined and a tiny bit further away from the column. But you are probably right Joe. just wanted to check and be sure before discarding it. Thanks

I agree that it is the proof is in the plating.

Why don't you keep it anyway? Be really sure about it. It only costs
a penny to keep it. Look at it again some day on down the line, then
decide.
