Was it bought? That would be a great find in circulation.

Nice and I hope the auction goes well.
The auction usually has some deep pocket bidders.

Very Deep pockets. Especially this one. They said its their biggest one I guess. It will have Jack Lees estate and some Lucy collection. Whoever them are.

But anyway, NO I didnt buy it, and NO I didnt find it. It was pretty much gave to me by a relative that didnt know much about coins, along with other coins, and thats why I got addicted to this hobby.

IT TAKIN OVER MY LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE!!!!...lol

Jason... oops! I think they plated it with silver, and you know how much that can reduce the value of a coin..
NAH, just kidding.

Great coin! Super grade... not much more can be said.
I hope the coin gets the highest bids of any other in the auction.
Oh, if you make a really big profit on it, are you going to quit collecting?

Should have been somewhat higher due to the grade.
This is a bad time to be selling the way the economy is.

I thought it should of been higher for the same reason. The regular 81-D at that grade it around $300-$400..So I figured this would go way higher..I could of done better on eBay im thinking..

No, I doubt it. You have to remember that it was struck on a 10C Planchet and not on a Struck Dime. If it were a struck dime it would have gone alot higher proably $1200.00 or more in that grade. Depends on rotation, back to back or front to back etc. Still a fair price and a nice sell.
