All my buddies and I have been trying to attribute this coin with no luck.. So I call apon all the members of LCR to rescue us.:LOL_Hair:

Closest is 1DO-003 (http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1983&die_id=1983p1do003&die_state=mds) but I think it's an entirely new die.

It could be a real Late Die State 001 or 010 otherwise I am lost on this one ;-0 Nice Find !!!

It can't be a lds, as the die chip in the date would have to be present and its not. It can't be an eds, as there is more abrasion around TRUST on this coin. That's why I think it's a new die.

Great find!! What you appear to have is WDDO-003, FS-01-1983-103, 3-O-V, CDDO-003. It is not listed on Coppercoins, but if you have Wexler's book or The Cherrypicker's Guide, you can see it. You can read the die markers at Coneca:

This is the reverse of the 83p but none on that site said anything about remnants of a clash, so that leaves me with the impression its a new die ? Still looking for more feedback thou..Also Im no pro but I know the scratch the goes throw the (E) would be used as a marker..
