Hi:
Just found in a bank roll! First one since i started searching again! There still out there.
I believe its an 8 or maybe a 6 but not a 3(no die lines). What ever - a little find like that makes it all the more fun again.
thx

IMO I think it is a Die #3 (Look at the "L" of Liberty) with the top knot.

Agreed but it has those little dots above the t on trust. Do all #3's have the die scratches on the obverse - this one doesnot. But I'll take a three!!!
Thank you Joe

I also would have to go with #3 on this one.

I have a similar one and listed it as a 8 but I will have to make a note to recheck mine after seeing yours.

Added this photo of mine, my date shows some differance so I am not sure without deeper research.

Joe- I think it's 003. Coneca states two parallel die scratches between WE and TRUST(for stage C) which I see on this example.

Very nice find Roger. You are making a geat comeback. Congrats.
On the side, I have noticed that everytime you post a photo of one of your finds, the coin is always so clean. I never see any dirt or gunk on your coins. Do you clean them in some way before photographing them? If so, and I know you must be very careful about it, what is your method?

That's the same question I asked some time ago Rock. They all have that same cleanliness to them don't they?

Hi
I wipe them off with a little "goo be gone" first. Takes the lite dirt off. Use a q-tip.
