Found this one in a roll of circulated cents. Looked at it very closely under the scope to see if it was a hit on the eyelid, sure looks like it might be doubling to the north. Thoughts are welcome!

Unfortunately it looks like a hit. Especially since there are so many other hits around that area.

Bill,
Can you get a pic with the light from a different angle... I think this may be a DD... I do not see any damage around that area that lines up with the mark... Also the area directly around the possible DD does not appear to have been damaged... The light reflection does make it a little difficult to be sure though... Knowing me I'm probably wrong... LOL!!!

Jim I"m with you. I was thinking that the area above his eye is not a hit. It seems a little to uniform and contours the eye to be a hit.

After checking out the CONECA site, I'm almost positive this is DDO-005, which is listed as being coupled with DDO-006. Can't really see the triple spread on the wheat ears due to wear but the doubling on the dot and the motto are definitely there as seen on the picture.

That seems to be the correct CONECA attribution. Congrats on a great DDO/DDR find.
