This one is driving me crazy, I can see what appears to be an extra loop on the 9 and the 6 of the date. My first thought was that it could possibly be 1960D-1D0-003. However I do not see the die markers on the obverse that it mentions. On the reverse it mentions evidence of a die clash between the bays. I don't see that either but the last picture at coppercoins of the die scratches near ED in United and ST in States seem to be a match. I use a 7x loupe so it gets tricky to see the really tiny die markers, but the main ones I can usually make out if I hold it under the light just right. I checked over the other listed doubled dies and couldn't make a match. Does it have a shot at being a 003 or is it something totally different like MD? Thanks!

You can eliminate 003 because the MM location does not match and 003 is a large date.

I think it's just the way it was made! The little extra you're seeing on the 6 is very common. :tinysmile_hmm_t:

I think this was an engraving error in master.

I have found that the upper end tip of the 9 very commonly looks split like a DDO.

I think you may be right,I've never seen one without it.

Ok thanks everyone for the input, something about it just didn't look right to me. I will mark this as one more that got away :P
Shortly after making this post, I came across a good one. Actually its the first DDO that I am almost positive it is one. Its a 41 ddo, I believe its the 002. I need to take photos and will post it shortly. I am very excited about that one :)
