I sent Bob a new find on a 1994 DDR that I ran across while searching last week. Bob sent me an e-Mail awhile ago and it is a New Listing and is now posted on the CC Site.

Link Below:

The new piece shows partial Extra Columns in Bay #10 & #11.

This is my second Find and also I found the 1994 (WDDR-010) over 2 years ago.

I have a total of 13 DDR's (Extra Columns in bays) that have been attributed as "Discovery Pieces".

Joe
We (Heidi) found the 1DR-009 thru 1DR-011 and one of the 1993-'d's (not sure of #). It sort makes you feel pretty cool - and my ego needs that a little and only a little. Now that I think about it - I didn't find any - my daughter did! I'll keep trying.
Thx
Roger

I was wondering about that- Joe you said you discovered the #10, and I purchased the #10 from Roger that was listed as the discovery piece by the attributer- The #10 I have is slabbed by ANACS as first reported/plate coin on CC. It's headed back to Roger as a Christmas present, but was curious.

Not questioning you at all Joe, in fact I'm very sure that it's a jumble in records/reporting. Just curious-

Chris, we may be getting the coppercoins 1DR-010, and the WDDR-010 mixed up here. Heidi found the 1DR-010, and Joe discovered the Wexler #10.

Heck yeah it is- I've been sitting on a couple of OBWs, thinking I'd be selling them someday, but pending a pleading offer, I'm gonna break them open tomorrow morning!

Thanks for clairification I agree the Discovery Piece numbers can become confusing.

The WDDR-010 of mine was published in the Strike it Rich, 3rd addition on page 100, also the 1989 on page 90 WDDR-021/CDDR-006 and the 1995-D WDDR-004 on page 102. All 3 are encapsulated as Discovery pieces.

Congrats on your finds also Roger and having them encapsulated as plate and first reported finds is a nice feather in your cap and it also being a family affair with Heidi, Congrats also goes out to her.

NICE!! Got to like the fact that they are strong, full collumns with the coin itself being in upper grade condition. CONGRATS!
