I thought this might be educational. First person to guess the correct answer as to what this is wins something that I haven't decided upon yet. :)

Hint: It's obviously not MD.

I'll be stepping away for a couple of hours, but I'll check back as soon as I get home to see if someone guessed it right.

I know what it is, but I would just as soon let somebody else benefit from the lesson and your generosity.

Bob,

I figured you would know. I'll send you something you don't have listed anyway. :)

Depends on how many of those rolls you're willing to give up for it. :LOL_Hair:

I'm going to guess a die clash from the reverse columns. I don't think it's a form of doubling because the "doubled" areas are different distances from the letters.

I know what it is too, but don't believe in entering contests where I would take a prize away from a beginner or intermediate collector. I do appreciate you holding the contest, though.

I haven't a clue. But wonder if it might have something to do with it being a DDO. Perhaps something occured to make the doubling appear differently. Just wildly guessing here. I hope I haven't embarrassed myself too much.:tinysmile_hmm_t2:

I'm gonna guess and say it's a Class VIII hub doubling?

Congrats! Cimperialis was first to answer correctly. PM me your address and send something your way.

Thanks for this contest Jody. While I posted too late to get a guess in, I still learned something new! I have never seen a coin like that before. Not with a column clash in that area anyway.

Congrats to everyone who said die clash remnants. From another lighting angle, the remnants of the columns are also visible as well as a faint remnant on the left side of the T in Liberty.

Chugly,

This one was rotated lower than is typical for a memorial clash.
