A purchase from Frank on eBay. A very nice flipover double strike. It is a 1982 that I have determined was struck by a one die-pair which had distinctive polish lines (consistent with covering up a clash), then by some means, probably on a dual or quad die assembly, fell into another chamber and was struck by a different die-pair. Both strikes I was able to determine were from 1982 as a small amount of incuse design of the 2 (from a large date '82) remains in the T of CENT on the reverse. I made a small overlay diagram to assist in seeing the overlap of the two strikes.

Such chance errors would be impossible to keep track of.

BTW: I got this from LCR member pennies4pennies (Frank).

I was wondering if this coin is the same thing and if any one has seen this type before? Thank you for all your input!

Looks like a damaged coin after it left the mint. What is commonly referred to as a vice job. When 2 cents are pressed together in a vice.
You really should have posted this in your own new thread.

Yep, as Rock noted: vice job, and next time start a new thread please.
