    1998 P Trails Ebay pick

Picked this off ebay for 6 bucks, figured I couldnt go wrong whatever it might turn out to be. I tried to attribute it last night just going by the picture since I dont have it in hand yet. Trails best seen on the "E" in "America".

    Anyone got any ideas?

These are the ones I could find with similiar trails from the E
    -28T
    -32T
    -43T
    -51T

I realize it might be impossible to tell from one picture but figured someone might be able to plug it down.

    Thanks as always

Not a trail, but as Roger said, just some ejection lines on the planchet. Especially common in the late 90's.

CORRECTION: I zoomed in on the original listing, and the seller got it right. There are indeed some trails going NW on the right side of EPU, and some on the features of the building.

Yeah, sorry for jumping the gun, Tom. I saw the confounding ejection lines, and thought "oh, he got those confused with trail dies." You were absolutely right!

No worries, since I started a collection of these Ive gotten pretty good at spotting the telltale signs of trails. Just cant wait to get this one in hand so I can attribute it properly. I just thought one of the trail experts might be able to spot something I cant, some kind of marker and identify it.

Thanks for the reply, at least I know someone else sees trails so I didnt miss the mark!

Looks like it turned out to be 1998P-1DER-028T

The die scrape in the last bay seems to be the best marker. Coin is in excellent shape, might be able to upgrade the one I already have with this one.
