Has anyone else been collecting these doubled dies?

I've been collecting these double dies since first discovery. Have found quite a few of all varieties in the 2009 FY.

I just got started on these a few weeks ago. So far I have about 25 wddr's. I also just bought 3 uncirculated rolls that yielded 19 of the wddr-046 error. Ebay seems to be drying up somewhat in regards to these.

I have tried, but I can't get any ANYWHERE. I have found a few 2009 FY, but no DDs. I do have one of the ones with the doubled logs on the cabin, though. It is a minor one, though.

I have been collecting them since the beginning. I don't have all of them, but I do have most of them. I also have over 2,000 duplicates. If anyone is interested in purchasing some for their own collection, PM me and I will send a list of what I have.

Greg, If you are referring to the LCR top 10, I have duplicates of numbers 1, 2, 3, 6, 7,9, and 10

I have all of those as well except for number 009 i think....but I was referring to Wexler's "Best of" from the doubleddie.com website. He singles out about 30 of them as "Best Of".

I have searched alot, but haven't found many 2009s. I have like 2 or 3 of the Log Cabin DDRs, but none of the FY DDs. I want to have the satisfaction of finding my own, but may have to buy one from you Bob. Thanks,

flyhi3, I would also recommend searching some uncirculated FY rolls if you have access to a fair dealer who sells them cheap. I've only searched about 10 rolls so far, and I've already found 2 rolls with doubled thumbs in them. I'm not sure if this is a good sign or not (if they end up being too common, the value will depreciate), and maybe I was just lucky. But its worth a try, and searching is half the fun :)

I was into these for a while and got up from 001 to about WDDR-065 or so before I got a little overwhelmed. I might get back into, but finding the remainder may prove hard...

Jcuve...there are actually alot of good sellers on ebay who have just about all the WDDR's for the FY and are willing to sell them in bundles for a third to a half of the wexler prices. I can give you the names of a couple if you want to email them on ebay, or mustbebob says he has most of them too, and is willing to sell.

I do not have access to a dealer with them (as far as I know) What is a "fair" price? I think finding them in bank rolls for face value is more fun!
