View Full Version : Double Die Date?
Does this date look doubled to you all ? It does not match up with CC 1990P-1D0-001 or 002, but the date looks the same.
Thanks
Paul

I don't see any doubling or extra thickness on this coin. There may be some die deterioration, but that's about it,

Agreed, I don't think this is a doubled die.

I am not seeing any extra thickness on the tails, Paul.
Edit: Never mind, lol. I see the pros beat me to it.

Don't short change yourself Simon. You've been doing extremely well in your analysis and replies to member's questions. Your know and have learned a lot more that you give yourself credit for.

"Double die date?" Doubled Die is the correct term - and as noted I don't see anything either. This era is plauged with die wear and deceptive plating disturbance issues...
