This contest is open to all. It won't be easy. The first correct answer wins a tube of Wheat RPMs.
You can have 3 guesses on your post. Buy Sunday night at 9pm eastern time if there is no winner then everybody has a second chance. One post for answers which can have 3 guesses. No editing after post is made.
I will watch the post and answer guess right or wrong. So if you sit back and watch you know what not to say but on the other hand someone might guess it right.
The winner will get a free tube of RPMs from me. I'm not sure what years are in this tube. I think they are minor rpms but they are free and they are RPMs and they will all be wheat cents D&S.
Any questions ask before you answer. The contest will start NOW!!!!! Ending will be first right!!!
I am only giving you the mint mark with no sign of the date. This is what's going to make it hard.

One hint. It can be found on Coppercoins, and it's a wheat cent.

Best of luck to all.

Frank

Thanks for the contest Frank. I'm gonna pass on this one because I've won a contest or two from you in the past, have just recently found a few RPMs, and want to give other people a chance at a learning experience, as well as the possibility of winning some great coins.

Thanks for another great contest, Frank. I too am going to pass since I recently won one of your contests. (secretly, I am just too lazy to page through 600 rpms looking for the answer.) :O

What a great contest, bro....
My knowledge of RPM's is so limited that you could time me with a calendar.....
I figure I might get done about the time we have a manned mission to mars, but I'll try anyway.

Nothing yet. I will give one more hint. It is a wheat cent. Coneca shows a different picture of the rpm but both are listed with each other. Coneca has a closer looking picture of the mm.

Coop they didn't know it was a wheat untill I gave them a hint after there post. Were's your guess.

Since I gave the hint after they posted there date of 1959 on up I would only say it would be fair for both of them too reguess just that one date. Because everybody else was under 1958.
So Mark and Jason you have one more single guess. NOT THREE.

OK. This contest is closing. Why. Well there is a discrepancies on the rpm . There is wear on the mm and it can alter the appearance of the MM making it look like another. The coin is going to get sent to Bob. There is different die states and this with some damage on the MM can fool you. I talk with Bob about this coin and the best thing to do is redo the contest. Sorry I should of used a AU or better coin. I am starting a new one and using AU to BU example. Please watch for the next contest which I am working on right now.It will be finished and started tonight.

I know the contest is closed, but I've always been late to dinner. So here's my shots:

Because there was never any mention of having to guess specific RPM #, I'll be guessing 3 different years as requested.

1957-D
1956-D
or
1955-D

Frank- you've already got my address to sent the tube of RPMs, right?
