What do you think is going on with this penny? Is this a Doubled die or something else?
A little blurry, but my best guess is Die deterioration.

What does this particular error mean? Does it make any difference as with it's collectible value? One thing I'm trying to figure out is why a Doubled Die is considered more desirable when machine doubling is not (both look almost the same) and now this is a new one on me. Just trying to learn this thing some more. Thanks for the inupt and Happy New Year everyone.

Nope.. Well I wouldn't sell it or buy it.. But that's just my opinion.. It's very very common I have over a hundred i've seen in the last week..
