Does anyone else's spouse give them a hard time about their hobby. I'm just trying to carve out a little something to do in my spare time.

Sometimes she says I'm making a pig of myself spending so much time on coins and not enogh on her.

I don't think I spend that much time with the coins, but she may be right on this, the clock is broke.

She says I ignore the things she wants to do just to set at the desk and look through a loope. I think Im pretty much of an angel when it comes to her.

The answer to the spouse question is to include her in some of your hobby's aspects. Jeanie, my wife, has a gift for gab and so I have enlisted her in CONECA for talking to prospective members into our organization. She has signed on 15 new people with in the last 6 months. She also likes gold, so a couple of gold coins given as gifts has fueled her interest in coin collecting. We both belong to the Central Florida Coin Club, which meets twice a month, so we do get out together, as a couple, on those nights and since there are few women who are interested in coins, she does get attention from the other men members, which is a plus, believe me.

Just some words of wisdom from an oldster who has been around more than a few years and is still trying to figure out what makes women the way they are, LOL.
