This "crack" leads all the way up the reverse to the blob at the end of the left wheat stalk. What is this all about?

You have a coin with a Lamination and part of the lamination is folded over. Nice error to put up.

Thanks everyone. Is the crack the lamination? I have seen lots more with the crack (and been calling it a die break which is clearly isn't.) And What causes this lamination?

Lamination is caused by a poor mixture of the metals and they will not adhere together correctly.
If you look closely you could proably take a dental pick or something sharp and go under the lamination and peel it back or lift it up. One end I believe has been separated and peeled back and folded over at the top of the lamination. Hope this helps you.
