Was searching a little this morning and found this. Is it machine doubling?

Honestly I believe this is an example of die deterioration doubling. Hard to tell from the pics but I am sure it is not hub doubling. Keep looking and good luck!

That is what I call "pushed plating doubling"...but as Shannon said, not a DDO.

I have a fair number of this date and most have die deterioration, split plating or machine doubling. To date I have not seen a DDR or DDO but don't be discouraged. One may pop up soon.

Well, dont forget the huge DDR that Joe found! Scheduled to appear in the new edition CPG, whenever Ken Potter is located.

Not a good date for DDOs although there are a couple of minor Class 6 DDOs known for the P mint coins. A couple of DDRs are also known.

You can add plating disturbance doubling to list of non-collectible doubling from this era.
