Well done, John. I like when these things get posted as a reminder for myself. I do a lot of non-solid-date searching, so it gets hard to remember everything to concentrate on when looking at a different date every coin. Congrats.

I had to brush it lightly with an eraser so the doubling could show better.Actually the separation never caught my eyes,it was the thickness in the letters.Then I looked closer & smiled!! :) Thanks everyone for your comments and viewing!!

Not to sound critical, but wouldn't a Q-tip and acetone have been as or more effective than a pencil eraser?

I really like the coin, it looks a great deal like the 70-D DDO #1 I found the other day- same story, didn't even know the variety existed, now I'll keep an eye out for it regularly.
