Eric, there is a photo of the RPM-002 in the RPM book (Second Edition). Yours looks to be close, but I can not see the doubling on your pics. I do not have an RPM-002 in my collection either, so I can't post a photo. I will see if I can come up with something so we can at least try an overlay on it.

The coin is not RPM#2. What I see he is pointing at is an East. Eric , if you have some verdi gone dip the coin for an hour, use a toothpick and rub/clean the junk from the devises of the primary mintmark. then pat dry with a lens cloth and lightly cloth with a handkerchief dry. If it disappears you know it's a normal coin. Eric
Your coins primary mintmark is to far south for RPM#2. I think your coin is normal with circulation damage/wear.
Here is a picture of RPM#1 and #2. The server gave me an error because the pic of my RPM#2 is in the die varieties by year.
