Let me start by saying I am grateful for the opportunity and privilege of being able to access the people and information at lincolncentresource - it is invaluable to the pursuit of varieties. I am here to learn from some very knowledgeable people and want to say thank you in advance for the anticipated learning experience that one day I may be able to contribute in a meaningful way myself. Now a little bit about Dave. :)
I was born in Virginia Beach, spent most of my younger years in Hawaii and Tucson, Arizona, and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for my high school years. Before going to law school and becoming an attorney, I worked in casino surveillance (not security). While working surveillance in about 2000, a co-worker re-ignited my interest in coins and it has been strong ever since. I live in Las Vegas (actually Henderson, but if you cross the street it is Las Vegas) with my beautiful and supportive wife and 3 chihuahuas.
I enjoy collecting Lincoln wheat cent varieties, Draped Bust cents, and American Indian jewelry (I also have a decent comic collection to include most Iron Man from 1-250). I also enjoy archery, shooting, strategy games, and Aztec/ Maya/ Inca history. I have also starting collecting ancient coins in the last month. Though my coin pursuits are diverse, I always fall back on Lincoln cents and trying to find a variety or error most evenings.
