1997-D Lincoln cent, double ear ?

I am trying to determine if this coin is a double ear as defined by Wexler ?
I think I see some markers but they are listed for a 1997-P coin, not a Denver variety.

It's die wear. Very typical in this area of a lincoln cent.

I think it is also the "channelling" effect from mint's reinforcement of the device.
