A dealer friend called me today with something fun- he picked up 37 mint sewn bags! The dates are as follows:
1977-D- (7)
1979-D- (20)
1980-D- (6)
To clarify, these are $50 face value bags, 5,000 BU coins in each.
While these aren't the most exciting years for searching die varieties, mint sewn bags are the ONLY place one can cherrypick errors- things like thin planchets, clips, blank planchets are regularly found in sealed bags, I've encountered each.
You also stand a chance to find more dramatic really fun and valuable errors too.
These bags are being sold for LESS than their melt value in copper. They'll sell fast, PM me immediately- first come, first served.
Each bag- any date, is $140 plus $13 shipping. 2 bags can be shipped in the same box for $13. Again, only $140 per bag!
