This is way off topic but I got a small box of coins from a friend that got it from her grandfather. It has some silver world coins and a few Liberty dollars and this gold looking coin with no date and has GR64 1 14k stamped on it. Couldnt find anything when I googled it and Im thinking its just a charm or trinket coin. Anyone seen this before?

coin or trinket?

I'll second the trinket/token theory. If it has no date, I'm pretty certain it is not a coin. -
Interesting though. I'd be happy to test it for gold content if you'd like. That's likely where any value would come from, if it was 14k.Chris & Charity Welch- LIVEANDIEVARIETIES

There are a lot of gold plated tokens commemorating the Emperor Maximillion. The original gold coin was dated 1865, and a lot of the gold plated copies have the date on them. This is very common in Mexico. You can see some of the similar ones here:
I have been unable to locate the one like you have Eric, but I have seen it many times before.Bob Piazza
