Yes, that is an extra thumb DDR, and one of the stronger ones! may be DDR-1, but I cannot tell with the photos..... A very hard find from circulation, or anywhere! nice coin!!! :)
(just a little FYI, that is a variety, not an error. An error is a striking problem, a variety is a incorrectly made die that has doubling, etc.:angel: )
