I'm finally back in the game !!!

Finally...and I was just complaining that I can only search 50 or so cents because of the pain. I just pulled a 1983P-1DR-001..probably MS63 out of a tub of cents a friend gave me last week. My fourth of this variety..and I spotted it because of the scratches on the obverse...looking through the clear tub ! My first find of any kind since my accident...WOO HOO !!!
Sorry for the lack of pics, but it's going to be a few weeks before I can manage to get out my setup.

Incredible. And to say you spotted it through the tub of coins? You've got the eye!

An 83 DDR1? That does it, I'm going out to throw myself off a ladder right now.

Congrats, Rog. That should be better that any therapy you are receiving.

I'd give away both of my 83 DDR's to avoid that fall but yes it is the most fun I've had in 6 weeks,2days,7 hrs.

And yeah Dennis....one of those clear 1 pint food tubs.....that 83 obverse was just staring at me and I looked closer and saw the scratches....then started digging ...my eyes are not all that great, but it just got my attention while I was deciding whether or not to quit for the day.

All out of "thanks" already guys..but THANKS

Congrats! Glad you found another in good condition! The current bags I've been going through have been slow on the finds. (mainly minor doubled dies and lathe lines... nothing too exciting.) It's amazing that you found so many in a very short period of time. LOL

Don't do that! As a home builder, I have done that a few times, and it surprisingly is never any fun.

Roger...I am so happy for you. Congrats on the find. Maybe that's the start of some normalcy in the near future.
