Was looking through some wheats i have had for a while and this LIBERTY looked a little funny... What do you all think??

I think the E just took a hit or something. If there was extra thickness, it would be more apparent on the other letters as well. Keep up the hunt!

Either the E took a hit or it is the beginning of a BIE die break.

My first thought was a BIE die break as well.

1956 is also the year they enlarged the size of the letters in LIBERTY, but agree with others it looks like the start of a BIE cent.

yeah it's alot of thickness on the E but don't see anything different...
