1998 Odd marking in the coloumns

In the first column on the right at the top there is a odd slanted marking..not sure what it is. Also in between the fourth column down on the left hand side is the same slant marking. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have found a couple of these in 98 and 99, I think they are slight die clashes... when you flip the coin over it is just about the area and same shape as Lincolns shoulder/neck area across from the word Liberty. I'm sure the pros will chime in soon but that's my best guess!

I agree it is probably a clash that's been buffed out.
