Hello again,

I have been lacking anything new to search for nearly a week, so I started to go through some of my old piles checking for anything obscure. In the process, I was able to turn up these two class 6 DDR gems: A 1924-P DDR#1 and a 1929-P DDR#1. Even though these coins are quite circulated, the DDR's are still pretty obvious. I will be on the hunt for some higher grade examples for sure as I get these are pretty rare. Just wanted to share and let you know that these are still pretty visible on lower grade coins and it might be worth your time to check for them. Happy searching everyone!

The 24-P is a really nice older DDR.

I cherried a nice one and sent it to ANACs, it came back "1924 DDR DMR-003 DDR-001 LDS MS65 RB".

Very nice finds.
Didnt know about the '24 DDR. I would've completely passed that up. Sure is hard to see when they are well circulated, but that unc that grumpy posted sure shows how significant the doubling is.

Now that's what I'm talking about GrumpyEd!! What a phenomenal coin you have!! Thanks so much for posting that even though it puts mine to shame:). It looks like yours has some nice separation evident along the lower right wheat stalk as well? Now I really want a higher grade example!

They look super John. Thats one thing I have never really check for. Maybe I should start rechecking my wheats for DDRs. I haven't look for one ddr in any of my coins. Congrats on nice finds. Oh yea the coins came in today and I am very happy with them. Did you get yours?
