Whenever I look at a 1990 cent, I scan "LIB." I believe that is the strongest PUP, with the bowtie being a close second. On the only mint state example, and until now the ONLY other example, the separation between the primary and secondary "I" in Liberty really pops.
Nice pictures Jason. Way to go John. I can see the difference now. Wasn't for sure before. My eye and I think everybody else will be hinting this one down. I know it's on top of my list.

Thanks. I've always looked at LIBERTY too. For me, it seems like the IBE stands out the most.

Totally awesome Jason!!!! Thank you so much for putting your amazing talents to task on this coin and in such a short time frame!! I am indebted to you for life on this one! Thanks for making my day (year???) and for documenting my very very lucky find! You rock!!!
An amazing find for sure. Hope this makes it to one of the numismatic publications. Its certainly worthy of mention in coin world, IMO.
I can see if I can get it in the Coneca Errorscope. The deadline in in two days...

Wonderful to see these photos. Jason, having seen this one in hand, what would you say is the best pick-up point?
The wear on LIBERTY makes that a difficult pickup point, whereas the separation on the vest and tie really stands out. On a BU coin, I would agree that LIBE of LIBERTY would probably be the key area.

Thanks John. Glad to have had the opportunity to see it and document. Wiles wants to see it for the CONECA files so I will forward to him soon.
